Couples Therapy

Strengthen your relationship – together.
Relationships can be deeply rewarding, but they can also be incredibly challenging.
For many couples, it’s not just about the arguments or the distance that creeps in. It’s also about feeling unheard, unseen, or disconnected from the person you love most.
Whether you’re walking through a crisis, carrying grief, healing from betrayal, or simply wanting to invest in the health of your relationship before minor issues become major, couples therapy offers a space to slow down, tune in, and rebuild what really matters.
My approach is direct and genuine.
When I work with couples, I bring an honest, caring, and straightforward approach designed to meet their unique needs.
I won’t let our sessions become a replay of the same conversations you’ve already been having at home. Instead, I’ll keep us focused on your goals as a couple, while also creating a safe and supportive space where both of you can speak openly and honestly.
Much of our work will focus on understanding who each of you is individually and how your unique histories, patterns, and ways of being shape the ecosystem of your relationship.
Once we clearly see those dynamics, we can begin to create new ways of relating that allow you both to feel safe, seen, and valued.

Intimacy results from comprehension.
One of the most essential parts of couples therapy is building true intimacy.
This isn’t only about expressing yourself so that you feel heard and understood. It’s also about learning how to comprehend your partner truly.
You can have all the communication skills in the world, but without comprehension, those skills will only get you so far. When comprehension is missing, both partners are left feeling unheard and unseen.
Together, we’ll work on slowing down enough to listen, understand, and connect truly.

Bring back joy, passion, and growth!
Couples therapy is not just about repairing what feels broken – it’s also about rekindling joy and passion in your relationship.
Over time, many couples lose touch with the spark that first brought them together. Our work can help you rediscover that sense of excitement and fun, while also building the kind of intimacy that feels deeply grounding.
To paraphrase Heidi Priebe, “True love is attending a thousand deaths of the person you once knew.” Love requires us to grow, change, and sometimes grieve the old versions of ourselves and our partners, while learning how to embrace who we are becoming.
In therapy, we’ll practice the skills needed to adapt, stay connected through change, and evolve together as you both grow individually over time.

Move forward together with confidence.
Whether you’re coming to therapy to heal from a crisis, navigate grief, rebuild trust, or strengthen what you already have, this work is about creating a relationship that feels nourishing, resilient, and alive.
My commitment is to help you see yourselves and each other more clearly, so that you can build a partnership where both of you feel safe, understood, and deeply connected – not just now, but as you continue to grow together in the years ahead.
